I agree. I currently use a separate spreadsheet for organizing oddball tasks. One of the main benefits of this spreadsheet over AppColl is the ability to color code the task entries so I can better view / absorb the task list. I'd love to have this ability in AppColl and get rid of this additional spreadsheet.

additional fields for tasks: (i) client instructions received, (ii) draft papers prepared (for your own filing), (iii) draft waiting for your review
Please add additional fields tor tasks for: (i) client instructions received, (ii) draft papers prepared (for your own filing), (iii) draft waiting for your review.
Currently, when looking at our tasks that are due, there is no way to distinguish between those that are ready to be acted on or those that we need completion of some prerequisite (client instructions, draft papers/forms). Similarly, review of drafts by partners could have better workflow organization, and having these additional fields in the tasks would be very helpful.
These seem easy to implement (engineering-wise by AppColl), non-disruptive to users who don't want to use them, avoids problems with keyword typos (use of keywords in the comments being the current recommended system for tracking), and would also allow filtering by date (helpful in many situations, such as reacting to client instructions within a certain period of receiving the instructions).
So the fields could just be a check box (preferably with date tracking of when the check box was checked) or allow entry of a date (indicating a date of the receipt of client instructions, preparation of draft papers, or preparation of a draft waiting for review).

RE: client instructions received, draft papers prepared, draft waiting for revieww
@adminT7009 Thanks for the feedback.
I recommended this a while back and am making this recommendation again: I think it would be great to add additional fields to the tasks for these three items. These seem easy to implement (engineering-wise by AppColl), non-disruptive to users who don't want to use them, avoids problems with keyword typos, and would also allow filtering by date (helpful in many situations, such as reacting to client instructions within a certain period of getting the instructions).
So the fields could just be a check box (preferably with date tracking of when the check box was checked) or allow entry of a date (indicating a date of the receipt of client instructions, preparation of draft papers, or preparation of a draft waiting for review).
I'll replicate this comment on the product request page.
Thanks!

client instructions received, draft papers prepared, draft waiting for revieww
Completion of various tasks are contingent on (i) client instructions received and (ii) draft papers prepared. What are the recommendations for identifying tasks that have these prerequisites completed (i.e., Appcoll best practices)? I can see doing this through a new process flow, but this seems a bit complicated / messy. Or we could use specific keywords for a particular task.
Preferably, there would be custom task fields for (i) and (ii) to simply add a flag (which could change the format (e.g., bolding) of how the task is presented.(iii) Similarly, what is the recommendation for tracking drafts needing review? Again, this could be done with a custom process flow but would end up being a bit messy (I think it's important to keep the task list simplified to be able to clearly identify your obligations / workload). Adding a specific keyword to a task field?
Thanks for suggestions.
