Users unable to vote
-
After posting a new topic, a couple of our users wanted to vote on the topic. Here is their feedback on the voting process.
User 1: "when I click on it [the upward facing voting arrow], it takes me to a login page, even though I'm logged into AppColl"
The user tried to follow through with the login process just to see what would happen, and it only took them to the Tasks module. They were unable to vote.User 2: "When I click the carrot nothing happens, but i tried again and it showed my user id. Vote now appears at 1. I also have like 4 emails from appcoll to verify my email address. SO every time i tried to vote it sent me that. But when I click to confirm it takes me to a page and says "confirm does not exist."

@mike_appcoll thanks for your input. We are using the ? from within the AppColl database.

@GeorgeJ4336 Hi George- thanks for letting me know. I just asked our Engineering team to look into this.

Whenever I access the AppColl forum, including by clicking on the "?" icon in AppColl and selecting the forum, I get an e-mail message that says:
"Hello GeorgeJ4336
You've requested that we change or confirm your email addressFor security purposes, we only change or confirm the email address on file once its ownership has been confirmed via email. If you did not request this, no action is required on your part.
Once you confirm this email address, we will replace your current email address with this one (@****.com).
Click here to confirm your email address →"
Clicking on the "confirm" button in the e-mail message opens a page that says:
" /confirm/a7b7e61e-f8b6-46d4-8c9b-6f785c4fc22c Not Found
You seem to have stumbled upon a page that does not exist. Return to the home page." (and precipitates another e-mail message asking me to confirm my e-mail address).
I've raised this issue with Support at least twice, but it keeps occurring.

Hi Melissa- How are you gaining access to the forum? If you are logged into AppColl in one tab and then try to Google search or use a bookmark for the forum things will not work. You have to use the ? button to access the forum as that automatically logs you in. Trying to access the forum another way will not work for security reasons. Also- a person cannot vote on their own post.
