I know we can add custom fields already. However, there are certain systems we use that it would be helpful to have automatically generate (e.g., for all matters).
As an example, it would be very helpful if we could generate a link in which the application number is pre-populated -- such as "www.website.com/app-num/{Matter.ApplicationNum(alphanumonly)}/"
This would make it much easier to jump from the AppColl matter directly to an analytics, etc. webapp.

I tried doing this using custom fields, but I can't see a way to pre-populate the field itself, just the title of the field. If this is not a current capability, could it be considered as a feature?
