As our workflows continue to evolve, particularly around the use of e-signatures, we’ve encountered several limitations with the current DocuSign integration that are impacting our implementation of the feature and would like to bring attention to the need for a few key features that, if supported, would significantly improve our workflow and make the integration more widely adoptable:

      • In-Platform Document Editing
Having the ability to make minor edits to the document to be signed directly within AppColl (prior to sending for signature) would reduce back-and-forth and minimize version control issues.

      • Dynamic Templates Based on Signers
Our use cases often require different sets of signers depending on the matter. Support for dynamic templates that adjust roles and fields based on the number and identity of signers would greatly streamline our document preparation process.

      • Signer-Specified Witnesses
The ability for signers to identify and assign their own witnesses is increasingly necessary, especially for documents requiring formal witnessing outside of predefined parties.

We’re hopeful that these enhancements can be considered for a future update. Better support for these features would allow us to fully integrate our signature workflows within AppColl, minimizing the need to manage portions of the process externally.
