.docx Form Letter templates

We utilize the form letters templates to create shells for prosecution items among other things. Given that the PTO is moving to docx format for everything, I would LOVE the ability to create those templates in docx instead of rtf. It would save us one step.

I'd also love to be able to automatically generate a template within a task when the task is generated. Is that possible?

+1 for this request - automatically adding documents to tasks would be a great time saver.

@BerndN5890 How did the DOCX fill go wrong? I had a problem where the fields in the header weren't being filled and fields in the body were filled, but followed by the last letter of the field name and a ). That problem was supposedly fixed.

@admin DOCX seems buggy. Saved the same form letter as DOCX and RTF. The RTF template fills correctly, the DOCX template does not.

You can create form letter templates using .DOCX. You have the ability to create them in .docx or .rtf.
