Hi! I am new to AppColl and I am interested in advice on 'best practices' in a few areas. I'll post them as separate topics.
We are used to having 2-month, 1-month, 2-week, and 1-week reminders for hard deadlines on our docket. We use this is a means to check in on the matter to make sure things are moving along or that we’ve gotten ahold of the client etc. Do other firms do this? Or are you just looking at the the tasks tab in date order and just check deadlines coming up within a certain time frame? I like the color code option and the fact that we can run reports for deadlines in certain time frames, but I am curious how other firms handle this. It makes me extremely uncomfortable to not have any sort of reminder or 'check' on the matter to make sure things are moving along.

Hi Whitney, this would be the same idea as your other question. We can certainly walk you through this. He's an in-depth link on creating reminder tasks automatically. I hope this helps.

p.s. send an email to support@appcoll.com to get something scheduled.
