[Meta] Have any of the product requests made it into Appcoll?

The oldest post in this forum is nearly 5 months old. There have been suggestions ranging from simple to complex, but it does not appear that a single suggestion has yet been implemented - not even the "escape to cancel" suggestion. What is the point of this forum if none of the requests are actually implemented?

@SadiqA2304 We have implemented the Escape to cancel feature which has been suggested a few time. Any time a popup appears, you can click the Escape key to close the popup. We hope this helps.

@mike_appcoll New features are great, and it's good to see that after an extremely lengthy wait, some of the suggested features have made it into the system. But it's discouraging that no attention seems to be made to improving the usability or UI of the system, such as to reduce the number of clicks and speed up the actual use of the system. Stuff like escape to cancel, automatically attaching form letters to tasks or being able to email form letters, fixing the column whitespace issue, a "favorite" or "recent forms list, an "inventor first names" field (which has been suggested by multiple people), etc. These are low-hanging fruit that improve usability and can greatly reduce time spent for all users, and it's frustrating that the development emphasis seems to leave these types of concerns in the dust.

@SadiqA2304 Hi there- We released a bunch yesterday. As always, we are constantly upgrading the system and throughly beta testing everything we design.

Zero updates in nearly a year. Not even the simplest QoL updates have been made. This is frankly nuts. I remember many years ago, Appcoll was very fast to make fixes and implement new features that steadily improved the system and, ultimately, saved us time. There have been dozens of good new ideas thrown out there and none have been implemented. What is going on?

Some of us griping users would feel more gratified seeing new features rolled out feature by feature rather than in batches every 3 or 4 months. However, please make gratification of us griping users secondary to a high quality and efficient engineering process.
