I 100% agree with you but, as you said, AppColl is 100% customizable on that matter, so we have created all the EPO-related tasks ourselves.
We looked at how the native tasks were set up in AppColl (usually a event triggering a task, with notifications associated) and replicated the process.
It was a bit of work, especially since we wanted to do it in the most efficient way, but it's working well.
Our patent workload is not massive (we're inhouse) so we create a new type of task each time we receive new type of communication from the EPO.

@MelissaT3398 Currently we don't have a way to show a created date field that allows for showing a table of contacts and their dates. The only way to do with would be through the transaction history. Search for "added contact" and the name and look at the transaction date.

@gregg_appcoll Ah, thanks for clarifying. Might be worth including some parenthetical text below the "Empty Trash" button to indicate that it has this capability.

We added the ability to use the AttorneyRef as part of the email address for sending correspondence into a matter.

@Timothy Several people requested that syntax be added to enable conditional selection of field contents, such as when a first field is null. See the thread at https://forum.appcoll.com/topic/201/syntax-for-alternate-field-when-a-first-field-is-blank. I, for one, still would like to see such syntax added. For one thing, it would alleviate the need for one-off special fields, such as {Matter.ClientContact.NicknameOrFirst}, in that we users could program our own such fields.
